Bengaluru ATM Robbery thief spray paints on ATM cameras before Robbing Rs.16 Lakhs

gang of armed men barged into ATM in bellandur area,they sprayed paints to the cameras before cutting open the ATM machine to rob 16.5 lakh on Saturday.

The entire incident was caught on the CCTV cameras before the CCTV was blackened by spray paint.

Similar theft was reported in an ATM centre in Hosur and the police suspect that the gang is from other state and used the modus operandi of cutter and spray paint and covering their face with a shawl and bedsheets.

Miscreants are robbing ATMs because there is lack of security as per RBI norms says ATMs should be functioning 24/7 all days and with proper security measures to be taken as there should be security guard to be deployed outside the ATMs across Bengaluru due to lack of bank authorities and their negligence ATMs are being robbed says responsible citizen.

Based on the complaint filed by KIRAN E.G,employee of cash management company,the bellanduru police have registered a case charging under section 305 ,331 of BNS for further investigation.
