Hyderabad: Balkampet Ellamma Kalyana Mahotsava was organized grandly. Amma was decorated with 27 sareesand Swami with 11 panches. Devotees flocked in large numbers for the welfare mahotsav of Swami and Ammawar. On behalf of the government, Minister Konda Surekha presented silk clothes to Amma.
Earlier Union Minister Kishan Reddy visited Balkampet Ellamma. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar’s couple presented silk clothes to the goddess. Mayor of Hyderabad Gadwala Vijayalakshmi attended the welfare. Minister Ponnam Prabhakar and Mayor Vijayalakshmi participated in Balkampet Ellamma Kalyanam. Minister Ponnam expressed impatience with Collector Anudeep for not following the protocol. There was a slight scuffle while welcoming him. He stayed outside for a while because he did not follow the protocol.
