Continuing crack down against Narcotics,the city police in the month of June booked 32 cases under NDPS and arrested 45 peddlers including three Foreign Nationals,recovered 117.4 kilograms of Marijuana,11.4 kgs of opium,400 grams of Hashish oil,50 grams of cocaine and 236 grams of cocaine from them.
The 32 cases includes arrest of a peddler by Thalaghattapura police and recovered 4.3 kgs of Ganja, 400 ML of Hashish oil and 57 grams of MDMA total worth ₹ 5 lakh from him.
Similarly Yelahanka new town police arrested three peddlers and recovered 32 Kgs of Ganja worth ₹ 16 lakh while Konanakunte police arrested a peddler from Rajasthan and recovered 10.6 kgs of Opium and two kilos of Ganja worth two lakh from him.
The accused according to the police sourced the drugs from their contact in Neighbouring state and peddling among their customers .
