On Wednesday, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu entered the residence at 1-Janpath in Delhi allocated for the stay of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, who is coming to Delhi for official visits.
Chandrababu entering the 1-Janpath residence allotted to AP CM in Delhi
Today, Delhi: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday entered the 1-Janpath residence in Delhi allotted for the stay of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh who is coming to Delhi for official visits. He came to Delhi on Tuesday to meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah and entered the house after traditional worship as it was the first Ekadashi on Wednesday. During 2014-19 when Chandrababu was the Chief Minister, the Center allotted this residence for the Chief Minister of AP. He used to stay in AP Bhavan before allotment of this residence but later shifted here completely. Jaganmohan Reddy, who was the Chief Minister between 2019-24, also used to stay here every time he came to Delhi. As small repairs had to be done after he was vacated, every time Chandrababu came to Delhi after taking charge as Chief Minister on 12th of last month, he used to stay in 50 Ashoka Road allotted to former MP Galla Jayadev here. Now that the abode of power is ready, he entered it on Wednesday after performing the pooja. Union Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, State Minister Payyavula Keshav, TDP Parliamentary Party Leader Lau Srikrishna Devarayalu, MPs Keshineni Sivanath, Daggumalla Prasada Rao, BJP MP CM Ramesh and others participated in the programme. After this program, Chandrababu Naidu left for Vijayawada. It is reported that he will return to Delhi on the evening of the 26th to participate in the NITI Aayog Governing Council meeting on the 27th of this month.
