he CCB officials following a complaint busted an inter state stolen car sale racket and arrested two persons recovered 17 high ends cars worth Rs. 2.6 crore from them.
The accused identified as Riyaz and Austin part of the inter state car lifters gang who would source the stolen cars from other states created fake documents and sell it to the gullible customers .
Similarly the accused would send the stolen cars and also seized cars to the contacts in the network in other states with fabricated NOC from banks and forged vehicle documents .
City police commissioner,B.Dayananda,said that the racket is running for many months and investigations are on to ascertain the possible involvement of others in the racket .
