Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that the BJP has covered up some of the scandals that happened during their time.

Speaking to the media in Chitradurga today, he responded to opposition parties’ claims that the government is now bringing to light the past scandals of the BJP government.

Chief Minister questioned whether they were not scandals, and will they agree that these were scandals. He said that investigations into these scandals are underway. They were mentioned because, during their time, the Enforcement Directorate did not intervene,he said.

“Rs.60 Crores have been swallowed up in Bhovi Development Corporation.Which party does the person belong who has gone to jail for misappropriation of more than 47 crore rupees at Devaraja Urs Truck Terminal? Shouldn’t it be told?”the CM asked, adding that the investigation into these scandals is ongoing.

I am not threatening, just stating the facts:

Responding to BJP state president B.Y.Vijayendra’s statement that the Chief Minister is threatening, the CM said that he is not threatening but merely presenting the facts.

“D.S.Veeraiah,who was the president, and Shankarappa, M.D.of Devaraja Urs Truck Terminal, have gone to jail. Why is it not mentioned?Isn’t it also taxpayers’ money?” The Chief Minister questioned why it was not questioned by the opposition party.
