Amaravati, Madanapalle Town: CM Chandrababu expressed his anger over the fire incident in Madanapalle Sub-Collectorate of Annamaiya District. An urgent inquiry was ordered into the incident. DGP Dwaraka Tirumala Rao was ordered to immediately go to the spot in a helicopter. The DGP and CID chief will go to Madanapalle soon. It is reported that important documents were burnt in the fire. Doubts are being expressed about the incident taking place a few hours before the new sub-collector took charge. A fire in the background? Conspiracy? The CM ordered an inquiry into the issue. Allegations are being made that the land records were deliberately burnt in this incident.

Employee in police custody

A fire broke out in Madanapalle Sub Collector’s office on Sunday midnight. Valuable revenue records, computers and equipment were burnt. The office staff came to know about the matter and informed the fire brigade. As the fire station was next to it, they rushed there and controlled the fire. But it seems that valuable revenue records were burnt in this fire. An employee named Gautham, who works in the same office, is reported to be in the office till 12 o’clock in the night. He was detained by the police. Annamaya District Collector Sridhar, District SP Vidyasagar Naidu and ASP Rajkumar reached the spot and started investigation.

CM’s review with superiors

An employee named Gautham was found to be in the office till midnight on Sunday. Chandrababu ordered to find out the reasons for the employee’s stay till that time. Why did the employee go.. for what work did he go? Asked for details. Officials explained that Gautham was on duty at the time of the incident. The CM asked if the police went to the spot and what investigation was done. He complained about the delay in collecting forensic and other evidence. An inquiry should also be conducted on the condition of electricity supply during the incident. The CCTV footage was ordered to be seized immediately. They want to collect the details of people who have traveled there on the basis of cellphone signals. On this occasion, the CM commented that Aritherinollu has been in power until recently in erasing the evidence of crimes. The authorities should not forget such incidents in the past.
