Sunitha and Willmore undertook this Rhodasi trip as part of a 10-day mission. While they were supposed to return to Earth on June 14, the Boeing Starliner experienced technical problems due to helium leakage. Landing on the ground was postponed due to this. After that, NASA announced that they will be returning on June 26. Now it has been postponed once again. A new date is yet to be announced. Despite the problems, NASA said the astronauts are safe and the ISS has the facilities they need.
This is the third Rodasi Yatra for Sunita Williams. Earlier she went to ISS in 2006 and 2012. The spacewalk was conducted for a total of 50 hours and 40 minutes. Spent 322 days in space.
