Ladakh: Prime Minister Narendra Modi ( PM Modi ) has said that the whole of India will forever be indebted to the sacrifices of the soldiers who risked their lives for the country . He went to Ladakh on Friday to celebrate the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas. Visited the war memorial in Dras and paid tribute to the martyred soldiers. On this occasion, he said.. They attacked Pakistan. Daiyadi once again strongly warned the country that terrorism will be eradicated.

“Pakistan’s perverse attempts in the past have failed. However, that country has not learned any lessons from history, has it not? It is still committing acts of provocation against us with terrorism and proxy war. The words I will speak today.. will be heard directly by those who are training terrorists (referring to the Pakistan Army). I have only one thing to say to those who nurture the gunmen.. their nefarious plans will never succeed. PM Modi warned Pakistan that our forces will crush terrorism and give a befitting reply to the enemy .

“Ladakh stands witness to the Kargil war. We are celebrating Kargil Vijay Diwas to mark the sacrifices of martyrs. This success story is proof of our strength, patience and facts. Soldiers who risked their lives for the nation will be remembered forever. I was fortunate enough to be among the soldiers as a commoner during the Kargil war. Their struggle for the country is etched in my mind. India will overcome any challenges for the development of Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir. In a few days it will be five years since the abrogation of Article 370. Now the people of Jammu and Kashmir are waiting for a new future. Talking about big dreams. Currently, Kashmir is home to prestigious events. This earthly paradise is running fast towards peace and brotherhood,” Modi said.

Earlier, the Prime Minister paid tribute to the martyrs of Kargil at the Kargil War Memorial. He met the family members of the brave jawans. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi started the construction work of Shinkun La Tunnel project. The first blast was done virtually at the tunnel construction area. This 4.1 km long twin tube tunnel will be constructed at a height of 15,800 feet. This tunnel will be useful for fast movement of armed forces and military equipment in emergency situations. If its construction is completed, it will be recognized as the highest tunnel in the world.
