Koramangala PG Murder case cracked and accused arrested in Raisen district of MP by Koramangala police

he Southeast Division special team of police on Saturday arrested a 27-year-old man from his home town in Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh,three days after he stabbed a 24-year-old private firm employee to death outside her room in Paying Guest

Accommodation in Koramangala on Tuesday night .

Senior officer told reporters,Kriti Kumari,who was found dead with her throat slit on the third floor of a paying guest accommodation in VR Layout,Koramangala in the city on Tuesday night.

The accused Abhishek Sharma,an unemployed was said to be in relationship with the friend of the deceased .

The accused carried a knife in a plastic cover walked into the women Paying guest accommodation and stabbed Kriti Kumar repeatedly after an argument before fleeing the spot .

Kriti Kumari sustained multiple stab injuries collapsed in a pool of blood and cried out for help.Even though there were four inmates at that time,they stayed away to reach to her help,which eventuality led to her death.

The entire incident was caught on CCTV cameras installed in the PG and went viral,putting the security of the inmates at the PGs.

The accused soon after the incident escaped to his home town.The police formed three special teams ascertained the identity of the accused and tracked him down at his home town.He was brought to the city on transit warrant and taken into custody to ascertain the motive of the murder .

Initial probe revealed that Krithi Kumari,hailed from Bihar and completed her MBA in city started working in a private firm and stayed in the Paying guest.The accused female friend is said to be colleagues and was having a toxic relationship with Abhishek.

Abhishek is being unemployed moved to Bengaluru and was harassing Kriti’s friend.In order to escape from the harassment,she sought help and Kriti assured to help her and housed her in the paying guest without informing Abhishek.

Enraged Abhishek managed to track down the address and came in search of his friend and found Kriti alone. Following a heated argument,the accused who had carried the knife stabbed Kriti multiple times and slashed her neck before fleeing the spot said a senior officer.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,B Dayananda has appreciated Addl CP East,Raman Gupta,DCP Southeast,Sarah Fathima,ACP,Lakshminarayan,and his whole special team has been appreciated for their meticulous investigation and commendable job done by them in nabbing the accused in record time a special reward will be given to whole team he added.
