Koratagere police cracked murder case and arrested Woman among three for her husband’s murder to reunite with her maternal uncle turned male friend

The Koratagere police cracked a murder case on Tuesday and arrested a 28-year-old woman who got her husband killed to reunite with her maternal uncle turned her male friend .

The police found Prakash,30,dead on the road along with his motorcycle with multiple injuries and registered a case of un natural death but the post mortem confirmed that there were sharp object injuries,which led the police to intensify the probe.

The police on suspicion analysed call record details of suspect before zeroing in on her,Superintendent of Police,Ashok KV,said .

A detailed probe led her to confess to the crime based on which the police arrested Harshita along with her two associates Somashekhar and Rangasamaiah while the prime accused and maternal uncle identified as Gunda is on the run.efforts are on to track him down, the police , said .

Probe revealed that Harshitha native of Mallikavu village in Koratagere is a college drop out and addicted to tiktok.She met Prakash from Chincholi village in Kalaburagi on social media and they became friends .

Soon their friendship turned into relationship and Prakash came to her native and married her three years ago .

The couple had a 1.5 year old child.Since Prakash was unemployed Harshitha family helped him to get a postman job in a village .

Meanwhile Harshitha who continued with her Tiktok addiction led her to illicit relationship with her maternal uncle Gunda.She eloped with Gunda leaving her child and Prakash.

Following the missing complaint,the Koratagere police tracked down Harshitha and reunited with Prakash after counselling.

However Harshita did not want to live with Prakash and planned to get rid of Prakash to live with Gunda.As per the plan,Gunda roped in his nephew and brother of Harshitha identified as Somashekhar who called Prakash to an isolated place for a party on Sunday and killed him said a senior officer.
