CM Revanth Reddy said that the cooperation of NRIs is very necessary for the development of Telangana. He spoke at the Indian Overseas Congress (USA) meeting held in New Jersey as part of his visit to America.

“There is a lot of work done by NRIs for the victory of Congress party in Telangana. A state with a surplus budget was turned into a debt state by the previous rulers. The cooperation of NRIs is necessary to develop Telangana after ten years of destruction. Freebies are not good for the economic and sound development of the state. But… currently some poor and deserving people need it. Everyone should be given job opportunities. Handicrafts should be encouraged. There should not be a situation where people wait for freebies given by the government. Every child of Telangana needs better education and healthcare. Anything is possible only when the revenue streams for the state are created. That is why we are inviting investors to Telangana. We will provide necessary assistance on behalf of the government,” said CM Revanth.

The CM thanked Narendra Reddy who led the huge car rally earlier and the team and volunteers who spared their personal work and made the meeting a success.
