Congress instructs MLAs to make money from transfers:Bommai

Bengaluru:Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai charged the Congress of being the party that has most frequently misused the Raj Bhavan and said that party is responsible for misusing the Raj Bhavan more than 56 times to topple governments across the country.

Responding to Congress’s allegations that BJP leaders at the state and central levels are attempting to destabilize the state government through the Raj Bhavan here on Sunday,he said that the infamous and controversial Governor,Hansraj Bharadwaj, who had no case against the senior leader B.S.Yediyurappa, had given permission for prosecuting him. That case has now been dismissed.

Whether the Congress would apologize for this case.In fact, the Congress has the distinction of misusing the Raj Bhavan the most and it has toppled many governments, including in Kerala,by misusing the Raj Bhavan more than 56 times.”What the Congress could teach them”.

About the Congress’s claims of exposing scams from the previous government, Bommai challenged them, saying,”It’s their government now.Let them conduct any investigation they want.”

When his attention was drawn towards the mysterious death of a police Sub-inspector,the former CM the transfer racket started on the first day this government came to power.

He accused the government of not contributing a single paisa to development and claimed that all the MLAs are involved in this.

The Chief Minister and other Congress leaders have instructed MLAs to make money from transfers. The incumbent government has institutionalized corruption and conducting transfers under that guise.

Due to excessive demands for money, the government employees is under pressure. Not only those who have died but many are under extreme pressure. They can’t afford to pay the bribes.

Those who do pay end up engaging in corruption. Such deaths occur because corruption has been systematized from the top down.
