High school dropout consuming ganja performs wheelie chased and caught by Kamakshipalya Traffic Cops in Bengaluru

T he kamakshipalya traffic police on Wednesday chased and caught a 19 Year-old high school drop out for wheeling and behaving indecently with the motorists on the busy magadi main road .

The accused chandan,a porter by profession was high on drugs to celebrate his birthday and performing stunts on the busy road causing inconvenience to the road users.

A traffic policeman deployed at shantidhama junction tried to catch him but chandan managed to sped away.

The message was flashed and ASI Shivashankar who was on duty at the next junction managed to give a chase and pin down chandan.

He was brought to the station and verification of his mobile phone found many video clips of bike stunts done by him earlier.

The police also found a chat where chandan had discussed procuring ganja.On suspicion he was subjected to medical test and found he had consumed ganja.

Based on the report, the police booked him under rash and negligence driving, dangerous driving and also under NDPS act and remanded to judicial custody.

Chandan confessed that he was treated at the addiction centre six months ago and consumed drugs again on Wednesday to celebrate his birthday..

The police are now trying to track down the person who supplied drugs to chandan said a senior officer.
