An email bomb threat sent to a multi-national company in southern Bengaluru was a hoax, police officers said. The threat email was sent to Broadcom.
“The bomb threat email was received by the MNC at around 1 pm,” a senior police officer said.
Immediately, a team of police officers and investigators were deployed to the spot.
“On verfication by experts, it was found to be a hoax,” the officer said.
A First Information Report (FIR) has been registered at the Puttenahalli police station. “Investigations have been launched,” an official said.
