n a swift action,the parappana agrahara police on Monday arrested five labourers from Madhya Pradesh who bludgeoned a 43-year-old borell well truck driver over a trivial row at the site where borewell was being dug in Aegs layout in the wee hours of Monday.
The deceased Suresh was found dead next to the truck in a pool of blood and the police found the accused identified as Sahdev Arya,29,Sunil Navde,20,Dinesh VK, 25,Alpesh phanse,20 and Sanjay Kadje,21 all from Madhya Pradesh and working for a borewell digging firm.
Investigation revealed that the accused used to cook at the work site but Suresh the driver used to object for their cooking .
The fight broke out when the accused cooked chicken curry and Suresh objected and taunted them by cooking tasteless meal.
Enraged accused ganged up and attacked Suresh with an iron rod and escaped..
DCP, Southeast division,Sara Fathima formed a special team and dispatched them to different directions and exit points including railway stations and bus stand where the police kept a close watch and caught them accused minutes before they boarded a train.Senior officer appreciated the good work .
