Tumakuru District Police introduces new initiative called Locked House Monitoring System to protect property of residents

The Tumakuru district police have introduced a new initiative called the “Locked House Monitoring System” to protect the property of residents who are away from home. Under this system, residents planning to go out of town can notify the local police station, and the police will install CCTV cameras at strategic locations around the property.

These cameras will monitor the house 24/7,ensuring its safety during the residents’absence.This proactive measure aims to prevent thefts and provide peace of mind to homeowners.

If you register through ′′Request Police Watch police personnel from the station related to your home will go and install the camera.

Property offences like House Breaking Theft are one of the Major crimes affecting society which creates insecurity among public.

Implementation of LHMS (Locked Home Monitoring System) service in Districts will Prevent and help in detecting such crimes effectively.

A total of 100 IP based motion sensor cameras are provided under this project.The cameras will be installed after users registers in LHMS app.
