Agitated with the frequent wheeling and bike stunt performace,motorists with reckless wheelie stunts performed on busy roads by desperate youngsters,a group of enraged motorists and residents from villages off the Nelamangala highway resorted to some drastic measures,caught two bikers and hurled their bikes off the flyover near Nelamangala on the city outskirts on Sunday.
The in
cident was caught on mobile phone which went viral on social media .
The Nelamangala traffic police rushed to the spot and seized the bike and later track down the owners of the bike before registering a case against them.
The riders of the bike however escaped soon after the residents confronted them leaving their bikes .
Efforts are on to track down the accused,a senior officer, said .
It may be recalled that the police have taken tough measures to track down the youth performing bike stunts on highways on flyovers endangering the safety of the motorists .
On August 14 the North Division police launched special drive and booked as many as 44 bikers performing wheeling and stunts in the outskirts of the city on highways.
