he Bellandur police have arrested a 26-year-old bouncer for creating a ruckus and damaged the car of a software engineer who was returning home with wife and nine-month-old child over a road rage on Sarjapura main road Monday night .
The accused has been identified as, Naveen Reddy working as bouncer at a pub.
Senior officer told reporters,The victim,Soumyashankar 36,was returning home from a weekend trip at around 10.30 pm when she in a bid to avoid a bad patch of road applied sudden break.
The accused who was riding scooter from behind crashed into the car started shouting at the driver for applying sudden brake .
Heated argument ensued between them following which the accused stopped the car and in a bid to get the driver out smashed the windshield with the wiper blade and using a stone on the car.
The victim pleaded that the baby on board but the accused was infuriated and in no mood to listen and continued to hurl abuses and threatening with dire consequences.
Passers-by gathered at the scene and alerted the police who rushed to the spot and arrested Naveen Reddy.
The accused has been charged him under section 126 ( wrongful restrain ) 324 ( mischief ) 351 ( criminal intimidation) and 352 (intentional insults that provoke a breach of the peace) of the BNS for further investigation.
