Rowdy-Sheeters among nine including two woman arrested for sexually assaulting a woman in front of her son after illegally detaining them on charges of theft

T he Chandra layout police on Sunday arrested 2 Rowdy-sheeters along with his seven associates including two woman for sexually assaulting a woman In front of her son after illegally detaining them on the charges of theft .

The victim,according to the police,aged around 40 years was confined illegally along with her son (Varun,20 years),accused them of involved in disposing of stolen mobile and gold chains through his mother(the victim)and two of his friends Shakti and Basavaraju.

These two,according to the complaint,steal the valuables and gave the stolen items to Varun who disposes off through his mother between 13th-16th of August in Kengeri.

The accused,Joseph and his associate pagal seena who got to know about this,for the purpose of extortion assuming that the victims were involved in mobile and chain thefts and had made money to the tune of two Lakh by disposing of the stolen items.

In a bid to extort money from the victims,the accused kidnapped the victims from Chandra Layout police station jurisdiction on 13th August and illegally confined them in a house belonging to two other accused Pratap and his wife Sowmya in Kengeri.

During the illegal confinement a few of the accused have physically and sexually assaulted the victims including the son and mother .

After the assault the accused realised that the victims didn’t have the money, and they let them off with a warning.

The victims filed a complaint with the Chandra Layout police following which an FIR was registered for kidnapping,illegal confinement,extortion,physical and sexual assault and arrested Joseph (Rowdy Sheeter), Srinivas alias Pagal Seena (Rowdy Sheeter), Soumya and her husband Prathap, who is a local financier and their associates,Jathin,Vignesh,Syed Shahbuddin,auto driver, Swathi, Madesha.

Joseph and Pagal Seena are Chandra Layout Rowdy Sheeters.

Shahbuddin and Vignesh have previous assault cases against them a senior officer told reporters.
