Techie found dead in Bengaluru hotel; cops probe love angle

The Electronics City police initiated a probe to ascertain possible love angle which led to the death of 24-year-old software engineer who ended his life at a hotel on Tuesday.

The deceased Yagnik Sujith,native of Sakleshpur, Hassan, was found dead in a room in the Hotel Royal Inn near Neeladri Road in Electronics City with a plastic sheet wrapped around his body and a plastic pipe attached to helium cylinder to inhale the gas.

The police who have registered an un natural death case suspecting a love angle after speaking with the family members.

The family members reportedly told the police that Yagnik was depressed for the past few days and police are trying to get further details through his mobile phone belonging to the deceased .

The phone was locked and was sent to FSL for analysis to ascertain the details, a police officer, said .

Sujith worked from home for a IT company in the city came to Bengaluru on August 16 to appear for his MTech exam . He went out on August 19 and returned to the room hours before he ended his life.
