Drive Against Drunken Driving In Bengaluru Intensified, 324 Vehicles Seized

Continuing crack down against drunk and drive , the traffic police across the city on Saturday conducted special drive and inspected 18769 vehicles and booked a total number of 324 cases . 

The women police personnel have also joined the teams of traffic police to carry alcometer checks on women drivers .

As many as 161 police officials including 536 staff members divided into several teams and deployed at the strategic locations .

The special drive aimed to curb the menace of drunken driving and ensure road safety in Bangalore City.

The Traffic Police Department will continue to conduct such drives to enforce traffic rules and regulations.

Drunken driving is a serious offense that puts innocent lives at risk.We will not tolerate such reckless behavior on our roads.
