HYDERABAD: Hydra’s iron grip on illegal constructions in the city continues. Demolition has already been done in many places. On Saturday, Hydra Commissioner Ranganath undertook a whirlwind tour of Patancheru. Checked the local Saki pond. Here, the captured area was inspected and reviewed with the authorities. Officials have already identified 18 illegal structures in the pond. There are allegations that the Incor company has built an apartment by blocking the drains at the pond. Advocate Ravikrishna complained to the Hydra Commissioner about the encroachment of the ponds. Locals said that they have encroached all the ponds and blocked the canals and made illegal constructions. Ranganath ordered the officials to give a full report in this process. Illegal constructions were found in Shambhunikunta, Saki pond, Aminpur Pedda pond and Bandham Kommu pond.
Jagan’s notices are untrue
Hydra Commissioner Ranganath responded to the campaign of notices to Vaikapa President Jagan. He said that untruths are being propagated on social media.
Action has been taken against the officials who have allowed illegal constructions in the ponds within the city limits. Police registered criminal cases against six officials.
