Internet Desk: Infosys co -founder Narayana Murthy participates in various programs and gives advice and suggestions to students. Recently he participated in Teach for India Leaders Week. In this context, a twelve-year-old student asked him what he should do if he wanted to be like you. Narayanamurthy replied, “I don’t want you to be like me. I want to reach higher heights than myself. Not just walking in one’s footsteps. We have to make a new way for ourselves. He suggested that we should prepare highly for the country.

In this program, Narayanamurthy shared many things and life lessons learned in his life with the students. He explained that when he was a student, his father taught him how to study for exams with a time table, and because of that, he was able to score high ranks in many exams. He said that if there is discipline at the student stage it will become a habit forever. He said that one can reach higher heights in life by constantly learning something.

He remembered something that happened in Paris during his first days as an engineer. He explained that his team accidentally lost all of their computer system memory while working on a project, and their boss, Colin, immediately joined him and worked 22 hours to restore it. But he said that he never talked down to him and took full responsibility for the situation as a boss. Similarly, students are advised to move forward with leadership qualities and take full responsibility for our failures.
