Renukaswamy Murder Case: Kamakshipalya Police Files 3991 pages Chargesheet In Court Against,Pavithra Gowda,Darshan& others

ver 2.5 months after film star Darshan and his 16 associate arrested in Renukaswamy murder case,the Kamakshipalya police on Wednesday filed the chargesheet terming Pavithra Gowda and Darshan as A1 and A2 respectively.

The 3,991-page chargesheet,along with eight FSL and CFSL reports,accounts of three eye witnesses,27 witness records who have testifies under crpc 164 , statements of government officials,tahsildars, Doctors,RTOs,engineers and police along with 59 panchas was submitted before the 24th Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) at around 10.45 am.

A total of 231 witnesses,including three eyewitnesses, have been recorded and submitted along with chargesheet.

Renukaswamy’s DNA found on the clothes of some suspects,including Pavithra,remained a vital piece of evidence.

Renukaswamy’s body was found disposed of near a stormwater drain in Sumanahalli on June 9.The police suspected the dramatic turn of events following the surrender of four accused claimed to be the killer.

A detailed probe and analysis of their phone calls led to the arrest of Darshan and Pavithra gowda .

Further investigation revealed that Renukaswamy was tortured to death and the motive was the deceased sending lewd messages to Pavithra.
