We fought day and night for ten days without getting any food. The district administration, IAS officers, sanitation and water works workers worked tirelessly. On Tuesday evening we provided essentials to everyone. Center spends 75 percent and state 25 percent for natural calamities. Apart from these, we have asked the Center for special funds. We want to grant additional funds considering it as a national calamity. The central team is touring. The damage will be examined and reported.
Will travel from Uttarandhra to Bapatla
There was damage in many parts of the state. I am going to Uttarandhra on Wednesday. I will meet Eleru victims. I will visit Visakha too. On Thursday, I will visit Kolleru, Gudivada Constituency, Nandiwada Mandal and Bapatla and stand by the victims,’ said Chandrababu.
