LPG cylinder exploded in house due to alleged gas leakage four injured,house collapsed

our people injured a part of the house damaged in an explosion caused due to LPG cylinder leakage at a house in Byappanahalli on Monday morning.

Residents of the Sanjay Gandhi Nagar were startled to the sound caused due to the explosion occurred at the ground floor of the two storeyed house .

They rushed out to the help and shifted the inmates to a near-by hospital from there shifted to victoria hospital to treat for their burn injuries .

Byappanahalli police along with the fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.The police suspect leakage from the cylinder caused the explosion .

A wall of the house collapsed and furniture and other household articles damaged in the incident.

Due to the impact the wall of the adjacent houses were also developed cracks .

Minister for Housing,Waqf and Minority affairs,BZ Zameer Ahmed Khan visited the accident spot and assured to get the damaged houses repaired.He also announced compensation to the injured in the accident .

The Byappanahalli police have taken up a case and are investigating further to ascertain the exact cause of incident.
