Digital cards: One state.. one card

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy ordered to issue special family digital cards to every family in the state. It has been clarified that the cards should be designed to be useful for all the ration, health and welfare schemes and provided to the beneficiaries. It is suggested to go ahead with one state.. one digital card (one state.. one digital card) system.

Today, Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has ordered to issue special family digital cards to every family in the state. It has been clarified that the cards should be designed to be useful for all the ration, health and welfare schemes and provided to the beneficiaries. It is suggested to go ahead with one state.. one digital card (one state.. one digital card) system. On Monday, Chief Minister Revanth held a meeting with Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister N. Uttamkumar Reddy, Health and Medical Affairs Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, senior officials of Health and Civil Supplies Departments and discussed the issue of digital cards at his residence. To this extent, the CMO explained the details of Revanth’s speech in the meeting in a statement. “Family digital cards should be available so that all the eligible can get welfare schemes. With these, the beneficiaries should be able to get ration and health services anywhere in the state. One town and one village should be selected under the pilot project within each legislative assembly constituency of the state and operations should be started. The family digital card should contain the health profile (health information) of each family member. The card should be updated from time to time regarding addition and removal of new members in the respective families. District wise system should be established for monitoring of digital cards. Karnataka, Rajasthan and Haryana states have already issued cards with complete details of families, so a comprehensive study should be done there. CM Revanth ordered to examine everything and prepare a comprehensive report. CS Shantikumari, CM’s special secretary Ajith Reddy, CM’s secretaries Chandrasekhar Reddy, Sangeeta Satyanarayana, Medical and Health Secretary Christina J Chongtoo, Commissioner RV Karnan, Civil Supplies Commissioner DS Chauhan participated in the meeting.
