he manchenahalli police in Chikkaballapura district on Wednesday arrested 32-year-old labourer for beating his mother to death over a fight over extra marital affair .
The accused chandrashekhar,a daily wage labourer by profession was arrested within few hours of the mother from a nearby by hill where he was hiding.
Superintendent of police,Khushal Chowksey,who visited the murder spot to supervise the investigation,said that the deceased Ramanjinamma,50,resident of chikka hosahalli village also a labourer had lost her husband few years ago and was into illicit affair with a man from neighbourhood.
The accused Chandrashekhar staying along with the mother after separated from his wife .
Chandrashekhar used to warn his mother to stay away from liquor and also with his male friend and the duo fight frequently over this issue.
On Wednesday the duo had a fight and in the melee Chandrashekhar assaulted her and pushed her on the ground .
The victim sustained fatal Injury on the back of her head and killed due to heavy bleeding, the senior officer,said .
