The accused Harsh Sinha,25,from Jharkhand arrested for stabbing a BMTC conductor on a moving bus over a trivial row,was actually carrying a knife and hammer in his backpack to attack his manager who sacked him from the job,the probe revealed .
The accused travelling on footboard when the bus was moving near Vydehi circle was asked by the victim Yogesh to come inside,which led to heated argument .
In the melee Harsh Sinha pulled out a knife and stabbed Yogesh while the passengers scared and raised alarm . The driver stopped the bus and all passengers jumped out and ran out.
The accused who was furious continue to ransack and pulled out the hammer and smashed the windows of the bus and kicked the doors.
The entire incident was captured on CCTV camera installed in the bus and even the driver who jumped out recorded his act on his mobile phone.
The police rushed to the spot and arrested the accused and shifted the injured Yogesh to hospital,where he is being treated at ICU.
The Whitefield police arrested the accused and upon questioning it was revealed that Harsh was sacked by his manager 20 days ago for his non performance which irked him.
He wanted to take revenge with the manager and carried a knife and hammer in the bag and went around looking for him.
The accused have been booked under attempt to murder,carrying weapons with an intent to attack people and damaging public property,a senior officer,said.
