AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that after the alliance assumed power, they are finding solutions to all the complex problems in the state one by one. He said that he explained to the Prime Minister that while correcting the destruction done during Vaikapa in the state, the vision document of Swarnandhra Pradesh 2047 is being prepared. It will be ready by November 1. It has been announced that the construction of the first phase of Polavaram will be completed in two years. It has been revealed that it has been proposed to the Center to set up a Civil Aviation University in Bhogapuram. By 2026, it is likely that the work on bullet train lines will start from Amaravati to four major cities in the southern states. He said that within 100 days, the problems of all the teams have been solved and the only thing left is the revival of Vizag Steel. He said that discussions are being held on a wide range of issues to find a permanent solution. He said that they have given a list of national highways and asked them to approve them. We have asked the center to give subsidy for 65 lakh gas connections under PMYU. Chandrababu explained that the Prime Minister has assured that the state is being supported in all ways and that the same support will continue in the future as well. During his two-day visit to Delhi, he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Piyush Goyal, Nitin Gadkari, Hardeep Singh Puri, Kumaraswamy and Ashwini Vaishnav. After the meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday night, Chandrababu had a meeting with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. Kumaraswamy participated in that meeting. It is known that they mostly discussed the issue of merger of Visakha steel with SAIL. Chandrababu revealed the summary of the discussions with the Union Ministers in a press conference on Tuesday. These are the details..

CM Chandrababu presenting petition to Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri

“I have come to Delhi to discuss all the problems of the state. I briefed the Prime Minister about the financial situation of the state, the destruction in the last five years and the problems the state is currently facing. On the one hand, the Prime Minister is talking about clean India, but Andhra Pradesh has got a bad legacy due to the administration of the previous government. 85 lakh tonnes of garbage accumulated across the state. The previous government, which imposed garbage tax on the people, finally failed to clean up the garbage. I was surprised to see the heap of garbage accumulated at the intersection of four roads in Machilipatnam. Officials said that 2.50 lakh tonnes of garbage was dumped in Tirupati as well.

  • For the first phase of Polavaram, Rs. I thanked the Prime Minister for approving 12,500 crores and releasing some on Monday. We have started to complete the first phase in two years.
  • Under the first phase of the World Bank for the construction of Amaravati Rs. She said that she will give 15 thousand crores. Roads and building works will start there from December. We will complete them by setting a specific deadline.

If I do what Jagan did, it will not make sense

  • Amaravati-Ananthapuram Expressway is currently not open. Earlier, the road proposed by us between these two areas was changed by the previous government. Don’t want to spoil it though. If I do what Jagan did, it will not make sense. Earlier, the tribal university proposed by us in Kothavalasa mandal has been shifted to Salur. Now, if it is changed to a new colony, there is a risk of starting again. So we decided to continue in Salur. Unless we focus on completing all the projects, we don’t want to make them a problem.
  • We have asked Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal to give 20 thousand acres of salt land on the coast for industrial purposes. For this purpose, we have formed a committee with central and state government officials. If you take a leather policy, you will be paid.
  • Work is underway to set up a BPCL refinery in the state. For this, Ramayapatnam, Machilipatnam and Mulapad are being considered. If necessary we asked to see Krishnapatnam also. At first we thought Machilipatnam. But because there are low-lying lands there will be problems. They asked for a place at Ramayapatnam. We said we are ready for anything. It will result in an investment of Rs.85 thousand crores.
  • National Hydropower Corporation along with AP Genco has decided to set up a green hydrogen center with an investment of Rs. The foundation stone will be laid next month in Visakhapatnam.

Chief Minister Chandrababu discussing with Union Minister Piyush Goyal

A lot of money is needed to run Visakhapatnam steel

We are solving all the complicated problems in the state. The construction of Polavaram, Amaravati and Bhogapuram airports is being put in the groove. Visakhasteel plant is the only one left. We discussed this with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Steel Minister Kumaraswamy. We discussed various alternatives for its restoration. For the past few years, without paying attention to it, it has been brought to a state where it falls like a prison. Now Rs. They gave funds of 1,400 crores and saw that a furnace was working. Banks are waiting for some time due to central government giving that money while going to BAFR. Efforts are being made to completely revive this institution. We are discussing the issue of overcoming difficulties and finding a permanent solution. It is a matter of self-esteem and feelings of the Telugu people. But this has been done improperly for years. I don’t have any information about anyone’s involvement in this.

Due to administrative lapses and some ill-timed decisions, the project eventually ran into trouble. Now we are thinking seriously about putting it on track. Even if disinvestment stops for now, the industry needs a lot of money to run. An alternative is to merge into Sail. SAIL and central government should agree to that. There will be no permanent solution unless land is given to NMDC and some money is taken, it will remain a temporary solution. That money is not enough. Renovation is not possible unless it is thought under the package as a whole. Lack of raw material is also a problem. We are thinking of all the alternative ways to save it without privatizing it. By giving SAIL iron ore mines where they are mining, the cost of the raw material is going down. We want to give that facility to RINL.

If it comes, it can work like a sail. Along with this, the management should also work properly. There is no point in doing it without a solution. We will release a white paper on this after discussing with the central government and taking a decision. It needs central cooperation, so we are discussing it in two or three phases. This is the only complex problem before us. On the one hand, we have a heavy responsibility to move the systems forward while correcting the anarchies done by the previous Vaikapa government. Under the Jaljeevan Mission scheme, UP has spent Rs. “We also have to use Rs. 60 thousand crores to provide drinking water to all the houses,” explained Chandrababu.

Honoring Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and offering Srivari Prasad, Chief Minister Chandrababu Babu

Srivari Prasad and Araku Coffee for Prime Minister Modi and Union Ministers

Today, Delhi: Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who is on a visit to Delhi, along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, served Tirumala Srivari Laddu Prasadam and Araku Coffee to Union Ministers. He is reported to have commented to the Prime Minister that Srivari Laddu is now made with pure ghee. A box of coffee powder was given to everyone as a gift to promote Araku Coffee brand.

Waltheru Division is in Visakha Zone

  • We have now solved the problem which was compounded by the previous government. The central government has agreed to continue Waltheru division in the Visakhapatnam railway zone.
  • Discussed Railway Zone with Ashwini Vaishnav. The previous government delayed it by five years without giving it land. We fixed that problem as soon as we arrived. They expressed their willingness to lay the foundation stone in December.
  • The central government has decided to construct a four-lane railway track between Howrah-Chennai on the lines of the Golden Quadrilateral. This will increase the network of ports and industries in coastal Andhra Pradesh. Namo Bharat trains can be started between cities within a radius of 200 km. We said that the construction of the railway line between Vijayawada-Amaravati should be completed quickly. We asked to take up the construction of the line between Machilipatnam-Repalle.
  • We wanted a bullet train between Amaravati, Hyderabad, Bangalore and Chennai. This will bring together the four financial hubs of the South. As a result, economic activity picks up speed. These works can be started by 2026.
  • So far they have been asking for the state’s share in the construction of railway projects. Now the central government will complete all the ROBs, RUBs and lines with its own funds. For some lines like Nadikudi-Srikalahasti, Kotipalli-Narasapuram, Kadapa-Bangalore they have asked to give matching grant. At present, works of Rs.75 thousand crores are being done in the state.
  • We have asked to give semi-conductor industry to the state. We are organizing an international level exhibition focusing on the use of drones. We are focusing on designing government schemes based on education and medical records by integrating all the data.

Construction of roads within two and a half years

  • Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the construction of roads worth Rs.55 thousand crores, which is currently ongoing in the state, will be completed within two and a half years. I will review these from time to time and try to solve the land acquisition and other problems and complete them on a war footing.
  • Construction of Western Bypass Road in Vijayawada will be completed soon. As soon as it is done, the eastern bypass will be started. Greenfield road between Kuppam-Hosur and new roads between Moolpet-Vizag have been requested. If this road comes, we will take 9,000 acres of salt lands at Moolpet and make it an industrial hub. It will be a boon for Srikakula.
  • We wanted to connect the existing national highway to Bhogapuram Airport and the beach road from Visakhapatnam. There is also a possibility of a metro rail line here. The construction of Bhogapuram Airport will be completed by December 2025. There the previous government created a problem where 500 acres were not reduced. Now we want to give that land also and set up an aircraft repair and maintenance center (MRO). It will create employment for 25 thousand people.
  • We want to establish a civil aviation university in Bhogapuram itself and take steps to prepare the human resources required for this sector in the country. We said that if 33% seats are allotted to locals and skill development is provided, they will have a chance to get jobs across the country.

Hyderabad – Machilipatnam Port Highway

  • We wanted to build a new greenfield expressway to connect Machilipatnam port directly from Hyderabad. This will make the port available to Telangana. Also, we asked that the present Hyderabad-Vijayawada road should be widened to 8 lanes in as many places as possible.
  • We said that we are ready to provide necessary tax concessions for construction of 183 km outer ring road around Amaravati. In addition to waiving the GST payable to the state government for these road works, we have promised to give available government lands. We asked Gadkari to complete it within three years. This road will cost Rs.28 thousand crores.
