The UK’s MI5 has recently disclosed the matters related to this in its annual report. On this occasion, MI5 Director General Ken McCallum said that since the beginning of the Russia-Ukraine war, British citizens and residents have received threats. On this occasion, he said that 20 conspiracies with the support of Iran have been foiled. Similarly, since March 2017, MI5 and UK security officials have jointly foiled around 43 conspiracies.
He said that the Russian military intelligence agency wants to create dangerous destruction in the UK. He said that 13 percent of the youth under the age of 18 are likely to participate in these terrorist activities. They expressed concern that this number has increased more in the last three years.
