S Jaishankar Islamabad: Speaking at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit (SCO Summit) in Pakistan, Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar ( S Jaishankar ) lashed out at Shehbaz Sharif’s government. Cross-border terrorism was mentioned and criticized. It is advised to introspect why the relations between the two countries have deteriorated. He commented that if there is a lack of trust, cooperation and friendship, the neighbors will be alienated.

“If there is extremism, terrorism and separatist activities within the borders… there will be no chance for trade, connectivity and people-to-people relations between the two countries,” the minister said. Pakistan is not directly mentioned anywhere. After this meeting, Minister X posted on Twitter. “I heard our country’s declaration at the SCO conference held in Islamabad. “SCO should respond appropriately to the challenges we are facing in the turbulent world,” he said.

In 2019, there was a terrorist attack on a convoy of CRPF jawans in Pulwama. 40 jawans lost their lives in that incident and eight were seriously injured. In retaliation, the Indian Air Force launched airstrikes on February 26. In the early hours of the morning, bombs rained down on Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist bases in Balakot, Pakistan. With this incident, India and Pakistan have sent a strong message to the world that they will never tolerate terrorism. Since then the relations between the two countries have been completely damaged.

If this is the case, the Prime Minister of Pakistan gave a dinner at his residence on Tuesday night to the representatives of the member countries who came to participate in the SCO conference. On this occasion, Jaishankar and Shehbaz shook hands and talked for a while. Jaishankar will lead the Indian delegation at the SCO summit. This is the first time in nine years that an Indian External Affairs Minister is visiting Pakistan. In December 2015, then External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj visited Pakistan.
