Social justice will be the basis of my work:Bharat.

Bharat Bommai, the BJP candidate for the the Shiggaon-Savanur by-polls said he will work for the development of the constituency just like his father and in the coming days,he will continue the development work he initiated and work based on social justice.

Addressing the party workers’meeting at a hall on the outskirts of Shiggaon town in Haveri district on Monday, Bharat promised to work for the development of this constituency just like his father.

In the coming days,he will carry forward the development works his father started and work based on social justice, serving all sections of society, including SCs, STs,OBCs,and others.

He said he had worked during the 2018 and 2023 assembly elections. The people of the constituency had shown him love and trust, offering him hospitality with ‘mirchi mandakki’ (a local dish).I will always be with you and work for you.”

Earlier, speaking to the media,Bharat said this is an opportunity given to him by leaders, seniors, and the party high command. If he have been given this opportunity,it is because of the blessings of his parents.

From today,he officially started the election campaign, and he witnessed the love of the people of Shiggaon-Savanur. In the coming days,he will have the opportunity to serve society.

Bharat said he campaigned tirelessly during the 2018 and 2023 elections, though he was physically exhausted. “Since I received my voter ID,I have been voting here.

Srikanth Dundigowda and others are like family; they are supporters of my father. We will resolve any differences,” he said.

About the date for filing his nomination, he said his mother will choose an auspicious day for filing the nomination.

Replying to a question on political dynasties, he said, he is committed to the party’s decision. This is the decision of the leadership.A doctor’s son becomes a doctor, a teacher’s son becomes a teacher—so why shouldn’t a politician’s son become a politician?.
