Panipuri Vendor bludgeoned to death over drunken brawl accused arrested by Electronic City Police

A 28-year-old Panipuri vendor was bludgeoned to death over drunken brawl in Electronic city police station limits on Sunday night .

The deceased has been identified as Sarvesh,native of Uttar Pradesh and selling chat on roadside for the last 12 years.

Senior officer said,Sarvesh was living with his wife and five year old son at a rented house in electronic city.It was found that Sarvesh on Sunday after work bought liquor at Konappana Agrahara circle and went to a vacant space oposite the shop to consume alcohol.

Probe revealed that he had accompanied with few people probably his drinking partner heated argument ensued between them and in the melee the accused picked up a cobble stone and attacked Sarvesh.

Sarvesh sustained severe head injury and died on the spot.On Monday morning,passers-by noticed the body lying dead in a pool of blood and alerted police.

The police rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed probe.Based on the CCTV verification from in and around the area the police have obtained some clues about the accused and arrested him and further investigation is on to ascertain the exact reason behind the murder.
