Bengaluru building collapse:One more body recovered, total death toll at nine

he Rescue operations at the building collapsed site continue on third day and traced another person who suspected to have been buried under the debris .

After several hours of search the police and NDRF teams called off the search on Thursday and likely to resume on Friday, a police officer, said .

The person according to the police is Elumalai,the contractor and supervisor of the building,who was also been charged in the FIR .

The CCTV analyzed by the police found that a man was rushing towards the building from a near-by shed while it was collapsing and the police searched for him as he was trapped inside .

However there was no sign of it so far and the person suspected to be Elumalai,his phone was switched off .

The officials who have razed the building completely and now removing the debris to find if there are any other trapped .

The police initially suspected that there were two as the other worker named Gajendra was missing. Police later found that he was not at the spot when the building collapsed.

At least nine people have died after the six storyed building in Anjanadri Layout in Babusapalya under Hennur which collapsed on Tuesday .

The Hennur police on Thursday produced Muni Reddy and his son Bhuvan Reddy and Muniappa, the contractor till the construction of the fourth floor of the building, before the magistrate and were remanded in judicial custody.
