IND vs NZ: India’s defeat in the second Test.. New Zealand made history

Team India lost the second Test against New Zealand by 113 runs.

Pune: New Zealand gave a shock to Team India ( Team India ) , which is unquestionably dominating the home ground in the Tests . Kiwis won by 113 runs against India in the second Test held in Pune. The Indian team, which entered the ring with a target of 359 runs, was bowled out for 245 runs. While Yashaswi Jaiswal (77) excelled among the Indian batters, the others could not make huge scores. Mitchell Santner, who burst out with seven wickets in the first innings, took six wickets in the second innings. With the victory in this match, New Zealand won the three-test series 2-0 and created history. This is the first time New Zealand has won a Test series on Indian soil. Team India, who have won 18 consecutive Test series at home since 2012. It is noteworthy that they lost the series after Pushkar Kaala. The third Test will start from November 1 in Mumbai.

New Zealand started the third day with a score of 198/5 in the second innings and were bowled out for 255 runs. In this sequence, including the lead of 103 runs obtained in the first innings, India set a target of 359 runs. After starting the second innings, Team India lost their first wicket in the form of Rohit Sharma (8) at 34 runs. Jaiswal played consistently with Shubman Gill (23) and India looked in a better position at 81/1 at the lunch break. But, with the loss of six wickets in the second session, India’s defeat was confirmed there. New Zealand spinner Mitchell Santner, Yashaswi Jaiswal, Gill, Virat Kohli (17) and Sarfaraz Khan (9) gave India an irreparable blow. Rishabh Pant (0) is run out unnecessarily. At the end, Ravindra Jadeja (42) fought to no avail.
