o many ministers and MLAs coming here indicates that Congress has no existence:Bommai
Haveri (Shiggaon):Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai said that the goal of the people of Shiggaon Savanur constituency in this by-election is to ensure the victory of his son and BJP candidate,Bharat Bommai.
Responding to Minister,Zameer Ahmed Khan’s statement that defeating former CM Basavaraj Bommai’s son in this by-election is their goal,he told reporters here on Wednesday that the people’s goal in this constituency is to ensure Bharat Bommai’s victory,emphasizing that in a democracy,the decision of the people is final.
Replying to Minister Zameer’s allegations that Basavaraj Bommai won the previous elections by distributing money,Bommai retorted that the people of Shiggaon Savanur constituency are self-respecting individuals,and Congress is disrespecting them.The entire state is aware of what Minister Zameer did in the previous elections.
He questioned those who claim there has been no development in this constituency,urging them to visit the area.
He also asked them to observe the roads,water,and lights,questioning under whose tenure these were established.Merely standing on the street and making election-focused statements would yield no results.
Responding to Zameer Ahmed’s statement that the BJP is politicizing the Wakf property issue in light of the Maharashtra elections,Bommai clarified that there is no connection between the Maharashtra elections and this matter.
He cited the Bijapur Deputy Commissioner’s statement that notices were issued to farmers as per the minister’s orders.
Basavaraj Bommai further claimed that seeing more than ten ministers and over thirty MLAs coming to this constituency proves that Congress has no existence here.
Regarding Congress rebel candidate Ajjampeer Khadri withdrawing his nomination,Bommai said it was an internal decision made for the party’s vote bank.This decision neither benefits nor harms them.
Addressing Khadri’s claim that Yaseer Khan Pathan is a rowdy-sheeter who aimed to secure the ticket for himself, Bommai stated that Khadri should respond to these allegations himself.The people now understand the seriousness of each claim.
