More than half of the other states got posts in the governing council. Five from Telangana, three from Karnataka, two from Tamil Nadu, one each from Maharashtra and Gujarat got a chance in the Governing Council.

I have not been to Tirumala in the last five years
I was born and brought up in Chittoor district. Since my childhood, I used to go to no other temples except Tirumala. In our area we say we go to the hill.. The hill means Tirumala. The same custom is still there today. I feel that becoming the chairman of Titi is a new turning point in my life. Are you taking it seriously? It is not advisable to keep devotees in compartments for long. If children are kept like that for a long time, they suffer a lot. For the last five years, the children were not even given milk in the compartments. When the new government comes, they are providing milk and breakfast. My idea is that the darshan of the devotees should be completed within an hour. My idea is to dissolve Srivani Trust. Why another trust when there is one big trust? Let’s think about tickets. Let’s bring back the previous time slot method. We will set up special committees for material supply and temple lands. We will focus on universities and hospitals. Water in glass bottles on the hill became a burden for the devotees. There is an idea to set up water plants and give free paper glasses,” said BR Naidu.
