The Khalistani in Canada are once again outraged. Devotees were attacked at a temple. All the political parties reacted strongly to this.
Canada Internet Desk: The Khalistani in Canada are angry once again. This time they targeted the Hindu temple in Brampton and attacked the devotees. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has taken this seriously. The people there claim that they will protect the right to practice all religions. These attacks are not acceptable at all. In this context, heavy security forces have been deployed at the temple in Brampton. India has expressed deep concern over this incident.
A video of some Khalistani attacking devotees in the temple complex has gone viral. A representative of the Peel Regional Police Department said that they have not arrested anyone. The reasons for the clashes could not be given. Canada’s opposition Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilivre responded to these attacks and said that everyone has the freedom to practice their religious beliefs. He claimed that he will put an end to these chaotic situations as soon as he comes to power.
On the other hand, Canadian MP Chandra Arya responded and said that this incident shows how violent extremism has increased in Canada. Canadian Hindus want to come forward and protect their rights. He alleged that extremist forces have infiltrated politics and law enforcement in Canada.
MP Kevin Wong responded and expressed concern that Canada has become a safe haven for terrorists. He posted this on social media X. “Our leaders have failed to protect Hindus, Christians and Jews,” he said.
Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown has promised that strict action will be taken against those responsible for these attacks. Religious freedom is a symbol of Canada’s fundamental values. Everyone wants to be safe at their places of worship. The Ontario Sikhs and Gurdwara Council also issued a statement condemning the violence. They said violence has no place in their religion. The local authorities have been asked to investigate the incident and take action.
It is known that there have been successive attacks on temples in Canada for the past few months. Last year, anti-India slogans were written on the walls of the temple in Windsor.
The High Commission expressed deep concern
The Indian High Commission in Ottawa expressed its dismay at the attack by Khalistani supporters on a consular camp outside a Hindu temple in Brampton. It alleged that anti-Indian forces were behind it. “As in the past, the High Commission in Ottawa, Consulate General of India in Vancouver and Toronto are conducting camps for routine operations. We have earlier requested the Canadian authorities to provide security in view of the prevailing situation. Our camp activities were interrupted by the attack of the anti-Indian forces. Actions like this are deeply disappointing. We are deeply concerned about the safety of Indian citizens. Even though similar attempts were made in Vancouver on November 2-3, we were able to continue our activities,” the High Commission X responded. In the background of threats to Indian diplomats along with incidents of this nature, it has been said that the management of these camps will be based on security arrangements.
