India’s External Affairs Minister Jai Shankar said that whoever wins the US presidential election will work for their country’s own interests.
: The results of the US presidential election are coming out. Donald Trump’s victory is almost certain. In this context, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar made key comments. He stated that whoever is elected as the next president will work for their own interests. He made this comment in a discussion program with the foreign ministers of Australia and New Zealand.
“The views of the candidates are against the preferences of the people. It started with Obama. America abides by international norms. Trump could be more articulate and expressive on that point. But, the reality is that it is very important to look at the ideology of the American administration as a national one,’ said Jaishankar. Similarly, it has been revealed that the chances of continuing the charity received from America will decrease. The world should be prepared for that.
Meanwhile, on this occasion, the three foreign ministers called on their countries to come forward to bring about change in the global environment as desired.
