The KS Layout police have booked a Doctor and staff nurse of a private hospital for administering wrong treatment and misbehaving with a woman patient in an inebriated state on November 3.
Based on a complaint from the victim,the police have registered a non-cognizable report and submitted the report for medical board for further action.
Based on the report necessary action would be taken , DCP,South division,Lokesh B Jagalasar, said .
The victim suffering from fever had gone to the hospital for consultation.
The accused doctor identified as Pradeep administered her injection and later on the pretext of test allegedly misbehaved and injected her few more times .
Worried relatives of the victim who had accompanied her,when confronted the doctor they found him under the influence of alcohol and objected to his behaviour.
Sensing trouble,the accused escaped from the hospital , the complaint stated .
