ew house is proof against claims of no construction: Bommai
Haveri (Shiggaon):Former Chief Minister and Member of Parliament Basavaraj Bommai visited the village of Timmapur in the Shiggaon Assembly constituency on Friday.
During his tenure as Chief Minister,he had sanctioned Rs.5 lakh for the construction of a house for Malleshappa Durappanavar,who had lost his home in the floods.Today,he attended the housewarming ceremony of the new house and extended his wishes.
Speaking on the occasion,he said,Durappanavar’s house in Timmapur had collapsed in the floods.During his tenure as Chief Minister,he visited the place and sanctioned Rs.5 lakh for the construction of the house.
Through his continuous efforts,he has built a beautiful house and established a life of dignity.Today,he has held the housewarming ceremony,for which he was also invited.
We have built thousands of houses like this in the Shiggaon constituency.This new house stands as proof against the false claims of those who allege that not a single house has been built,” he stated.
