Nar Lokesh, who is on a visit to America, met Microsoft CEO Satyanadella. Discussed IT and skill development issues with him in Andhra Pradesh.
On this occasion, Satya Nadella said that Microsoft is a global leader in the field of software as well as cloud computing and enterprise technology. He said that as of October this year, Microsoft is a 3.1 trillion dollar market. In 2023, Microsoft has earned 211.9 billion dollars in revenue.
Later, Lokesh said that CM Chandrababu is working hard to make AP a leader in the field of technology. “We are building new IT hubs and innovation parks across the state. Microsoft’s collaboration is essential in shaping IT hubs into world-class centers. AP has the potential to become a regional hub for world-class companies. With the establishment of cloud infrastructure and data centers, AP will get more opportunities. We have investment friendly policies, land. We want to go with Microsoft’s leadership in cloud services… to build a state-of-the-art technology ecosystem. Agritech will revolutionize the agricultural sector of the state with the integration of AI. We hope to develop cultivation methods that increase productivity.
We will make available more services as part of speed of doing business. Prompt services with streamlined approvals, fast-track project implementation policies. We have made available fast services for business and commercial sectors. Infrastructure is ready in Andhra Pradesh. AP is suitable for digital governance strategic logistics. We seek Microsoft’s cooperation in the procedures we follow. We want to make Amaravati an AI capital. We are going to establish an AI University there. Under the leadership of Chandrababu, we are setting up state-of-the-art infrastructure. Lokesh asked Satya Nadella to work with AP for strategic partnership and innovation. Minister’s meeting with representatives of Adobe and Apple
Lokesh met representatives of Adobe and Apple in San Francisco. Lokesh met Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayan and appealed to him to invest in Andhra Pradesh. He explained that AP is suitable for investments in all ways. Shantanu Narayan said that Adobe is a leader in digital media and cloud-based services. Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator have been made available. He said that we are bringing updated versions in the field of AI powered innovations. Shantanu Narayan said that he will discuss Lokesh’s proposals with the company colleagues. They will look into the matter of investments in AP.
Later, Lokesh visited the central office of Apple. He met Priya Balasubrahmanyam, Vice President (Operations) of that organization. She explained the products of Apple company to Lokesh. The minister said that facilities will be provided for the establishment of the unit wherever the organization requests.
