Haveri (Shiggaon):Union Minister of State for Railways and Jal Shakti, V.Somanna said Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, who is embroiled in the MUDA scam, does not have any realization that he has made a mistake and is not aware that he is responsible for the current challenging situation.
Somanna made these remarks while speaking to reporters after visiting various mutts in Shiggaon in the backdrop of the by-elections.
He said in the history of Karnataka,no sitting Chief Minister has faced such legal scrutiny.Siddaramaiah is unaware of his own wrongdoing and hence, referred to him as a “caged parrot” to justify his statement.
In response to Siddaramaiah’s claim that BJP leaders are on bail, the union minister questioned whether Siddaramaiah,if he had any conscience and was a genuine politician, could admit to the wrongs he had committed.
Are we responsible for the wrongful acts committed by Siddaramaiah?”In fact,Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Deputy Chief Minister D.K.Shivakumar are on bail, and now the same situation is arising for Siddaramaiah.
Asked about the Wakf property dispute,Somanna said that the welfare of Muslims has not been halted.Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing significant work in this regard, and a resolution will be achieved within a month, with a bill related to this issue soon to be implemented at the central level. This will benefit thousands of people.
He denied that the BJP has politicized the Wakf property issue and asserted that Siddaramaiah is responsible for this problem, having created it himself.
Somanna said that he met Karnataka Minister for Housing,Minorities Welfare and Waqf Zameer Ahmed in Hubballi earlier in the morning and told him that he had created disturbances in Bijapur with irresponsible actions, which would lead the public to teach him a lesson.
About D.K. Shivakumar’s statement that MP Tejasvi Surya should show humility,Somanna remarked that such comments reveal the character of those who make them.
