Bommai demands to give an account of houses built with the 5 lakh rupees grant in their constituencies

Haveri (Shiggaon):Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai has demanded that Rs.300 crore rupees he had sanctioned for the Shiggaon-Savanur constituency, which was taken back by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah,be released again.Only after releasing these funds the CM come to ask for votes.

Campaigning for BJP candidate Bharat Bommai in the villages of Dundshi, Shyabal, and Konankeri in Shiggaon taluk on Saturday, he challenged the CM and Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed, who have been spreading false claims that no houses were built in his constituency, to give an account of how many houses they had constructed with the 5 lakh rupees grant in their constituencies.

Bommai stated,In Dundshi alone, I have built 118 houses, in Somapur 58, in Dundshi Tanda 17, and in Shyabal 80 houses.

I have built houses in every village in my constituency. I have not only provided houses for the Hindu community but also built homes for Babasaheb, Maulali Sirabol, Syed Sab Nadaf, and Fatima Hulaguru.

Zameer should visit these houses as he has developed without looking at caste or religion.

He slammed the Congress government and said this government hasn’t built even a single house. The Rs.300 crore rupees that he had sanctioned for the Shiggaon constituency has been taken back.

Release these funds and then come to seek votes here. They have no moral standing. Those who are coming to ask for votes here used to request grants from him.Let Congress ministers and MLAs observe the development in his constituency and implement it in theirs.

About the guarantee schemes,Bommai criticised the Shakti scheme and said buses have stopped running due to worn-out tires.

The ministers claim that the transport department is profitable.Children are missing school three days a week because school buses don’t run.

As long as this poor government exists, people won’t get houses or flood relief. They have increased the prices of milk, diesel, and electricity.

“I have honestly worked for development and maintained peace in the constituency.I contested for the MP position at the request of Prime Minister Modi.

In this by-election,Bharat Bommai is contesting.Elect him,and we will work together as two MLAs”Bommai said

He pointed out that this election is Basavaraj Bommai versus the Congress government. If BJP wins in Shiggaon, this government will fall, and BJP will return to power. No force in the world can prevent the BJP from winning in Shiggaon.

At the same time, he affirmed his support for MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal and said“I will always stand with him.”
