H averi (Shiggaon):Former CM and Belgaum MP Jagadish Shettar said that voting for the BJP in this by-election should send a warning message to the Siddaramaiah government.
Campaigning on Saturday in support of NDA candidate Bharat Bommai in the Shiggaon constituency,he said that there is significant support from the youth in Shiggaon and that people want the development initiated by former CM Basavaraj Bommai to continue. There is no doubt that Bharat Bommai would win by a large margin.
“We have all come together for this election, which will be a new direction. The state is witnessing appeasement politics.
When Prime Minister Modi proposed amending the Waqf Act, the Waqf Board tried to convert thousands of acres of farmers’ land into Waqf property,” Shettar said.
The MP added that development occurred during the BJP government in the state, but the Siddaramaiah government has done nothing but engage in corruption. “They are at the end of their term and are looting using the earth moving machines.
Shettar mentioned the suicide of a clerk in Belagavi, pointing out that government employees are not living in peace.
The CM has acquired a site in his wife’s name. Siddaramaiah must resign and face an investigation. The people should respond to the policy of appeasement by ensuring a BJP victory in this election’.
Shettar highlighted that after Atal Bihari Vajpayee became Prime Minister,he built national highways and implemented the Gram Sadak Yojana, constructing roads for every village.Russian President Putin has called India a superpower, which he attributed to Modi’s leadership.
He further emphasized that Basavaraj Bommai, during his time as an MLA,Minister, and CM, allocated substantial funds for the irrigation sector. He built concrete roads in every village in Shiggaon.
Shettar appealed to the people to vote for Bharat Bommai to continue this development.
