ubballi:Former Chief Minister and MP Basavaraj Bommai expressed confidence that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Bharat Bommai will win by a large margin in the Shiggaon-Savanur constituency.
Speaking to the media in Hubballi on Tuesday, he said that both Superintendent of Police and former MLA Ajjampir Khadri have said that the Congress candidate is a rowdy-sheeter.Why the SP said this and why it was retracted?.
Chief Minister Siddaramaiah must clarify this matter. Complaints would be lodged with the Central Election Commission and the State Election Commission regarding the issue”.
When asked about the complaint filed by Congress leaders to the Governor against Union Minister Pralhad Joshi’s statement about Justice Michael D.Cunha, Bommai said Joshi has already provided clarification in this regard.
