The Konanakunte police have arrested a 25-year-old care taker and recovered valuables worth Rs. 12 lakh from her.
The accused Sonia had stolen the valuables from the house where she was employed to take care of a bedridden senior citizen.
The accused had noticed the family members wore gold valuables on Dasara and kept them in locker of the house.
Taking advantage of the situation the accused stole the valuables and sold part of it to buy expensive gifts for herself and rest of the valuables kept at home.
