A 30-year-old Constable attached to City Armed Reserve was killed in a self accident occurred On service road at Nayandahalli ring road in Byatarayanapura traffic police limits on Tuesday night .
The deceased Manu,resident of JJ Nagar was returning home after visiting a friend when the accident occurred at around 8.15 pm .
Senior officer told reporters,Manu was riding the motorcycle in rash and negligent manner lost control and crashed in footpath and fell on the road and hit by a goods vehicle passing by .
He sustained severe head injury since not wearing helmet and rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries .
The Byatarayanapura traffic police have registered a case of rash and negligent case against Manu for further investigation.
